Abstract

The purpose of study to determine the correlation between physical activity and the functional abilities of people with low back pain. The method used is a narrative review with a PEOs framework (Population, Exposure, Outcome, Study Design). Identifying articles using the appropriate database (Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scient Direct), selecting articles using a Critical Apprisal, then the data is entered into the PRISMA flowchart. The analysis results from 412 articles that have been identified; ten articles match the inclusion criteria and are used as the database in this study. From those articles, five articles explained that there was a correlation between physical activity and non-specific functional ability of people with low back pain, three articles explained the types of physical activity, one article described physical activity measurement instruments, and two articles explained the types of low back pain. There is a close correlation between physical activity and the functional abilities of people with low back pain. The lower the physical activity is, the lower the functional ability of people with low back pain.
