Abstract

A range of ‘walking’ appliances suitable for child, adolescent and adult paraplegics and tetraplegics is described and some of the technical considerations discussed. A valuable development to the appliance in the form of a rising wheelchair is also briefly discussed. © 1979, Paraplegia. All Rights Reserved.
