Abstract

In an effort to increase the knowledge and skills as well as a change in the attitude of its lecturers, Sariputra Indonesia Tomohon University, North Sulawesi has carried out activities to Increase Basic Instructional Technique Skills (PEKERTI) and Applied Approach (AA). The activity was carried out through the following stages: Theory of Character: 12-14 June 2019; AA Theory: 17-18 June 2019; Micro Learning Practice: 19 June 2019; Tasks of Pekerti-AA: 20 June - 3 July 2019. i The activity was attended by 35 people for Pekerti and 35 people for AA. The activity material includes standard training materials developed for the strengths of the education and training programs plus some materials related to the basic needs of the institution, such as the use of google classrooms in online learning, kahoot and google forms in evaluation activities. Participant evaluations are based on the results of the pretest-posttest, practice for character, and evaluation of the assignments prepared by the participants. The results of the activity show that there is a change in attitude for a better and an increase in the knowledge and skills of participants in the field of pedagogy and it is hoped that the participants can always develop themselves to the changes that occur in the aspects of the philosophy of pensions and government policies in the field of higher education.
