This paper seeks to analyze the reasons why organizational management influences the dynamics of NGOs in the city of Manizales. The existing theory on the management elements and processes applied in NGOs at an international level and their problems are addressed and analyzed, from which relevant criteria and elements were recognized for their dynamics. From there, nine cases of NGOs from the city of Manizales were selected that met the selection criteria applied, which were: participation in the National Accreditation System, Public Rendering of Accounts and detailed Characterization for the public policy guidelines. of the civil society organizations of Caldas. Information triangulation was applied to the nine cases in order to validate the theoretical constructs identified in the literature. A descriptive exploratory study methodology was adopted with an empirical analytical approach, with qualitative approach research characteristics, whose structure is based on the multiple case method, which managed to identify the analysis criteria that influence the dynamics of NGOs such as population, governance, strategic planning, human talent and financial management. The study yields results that allow identifying elements for the construction of diagnoses applicable to NGOs that identify challenges and potentialities that contribute to their strengthening, for which it is recommended to continue organizational and administrative studies applied to NGOs from business schools.
