Abstract
This review article explores the synthesis of the organosulfur(vi) species named sulfonimidates, focusing on their synthesis from sulfur(ii), sulfur(iv) and sulfur(vi) reagents, and investigates their recent resurgeance in interest as intermediates to access other important organosulfur compounds.
