Abstract

In this paper, Mn2O4and LiMn2O4nanocompositeshas been synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal method with KMnO4, LiOH and aniline as precursors. The products have been characterized by UV/Vis spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The band gap of Mn2O4 and LiMn2O4 nanocomposite has been calculated from the UV/Vis spectra. The particle size has been calculated by XRD technique. The formation of LiMn2O4has been confirmed from the FTIR spectra.
