Abstract

Rats were trained on a two-response discrete-trial pure-tone discrimination (500 and 1,000 Hz). Generalization was tested by randomly varying the frequency of the auditory stimuli (200-1,300 Hz) and by observing the resulting changes in response probability. Doses of.04- and.16 mg LSD/kg produced consistent effects on reaction time but did not change the shape of the generalization gradient. © 1970, Psychonomic Journals, Inc.. All rights reserved.
