Abstract

This article discusses methods of digital signal processing. Processing procedure of reflectograms of location testing in the case of ice coatings on power lines is developed. Due to abnormal dispersion in ice, the reflected location signals, upon existence on ice coatings, are dispersed in time, however, the shape of reflected signal is retained upon extraction of reflected location signals in narrow frequency band. Possible methods of suppression of narrow band interferences are described as well as methods of time–frequency analysis of reflectograms.
