Abstract

The drafting of a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan represents an opportunity to promote a change towards healthier cities. The case study presented here provides the result of the methodological innovations introduced, based on participatory action-research, to encourage the participation of children in urban planning and design. The conclusions of the case allow us to suggest that, for a mobility plan, the educational communities of the municipalities are a strategic space to consider in its drafting, in order to favour the implementation of healthy mobility habits.
