Generic revision of Onychiurinae (Collembola : Onychiuridae) with a cladistic analysis

Abstract

Diagnoses and key to the genera of Onychiurinae are given. Six new genera are erected and division of the subfamily into four tribes is proposed. A critical review of morphological characters is included. Phylogenetic relationships of the genera within the tribes are analyzed cladistically. A discussion on the biogeographical distribution is given.
