Twenty years of Interventions

Abstract

This editorial compares the situation for postcolonial scholars in 1998, when the journal started, with that of twenty years later in 2018, and notes that Interventions’ original statement of the scope and direction of the journal remains relevant in the changed conditions of the twenty-first century even if, inevitably, the issues need to be redefined and rearticulated for today.
