Abstract

The complete genome sequence of the crenarchaeon Ignicoccus hospitalis published recently in Genome Biology provides a great leap forward in the dissection of its unique association with another hyperthermophilic archaeon, Nanoarchaeum equitans. © 2009 BioMed Central Ltd.
