This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the effects (benefits and harms) of internal fixation for treating distal radius fractures in adults. Our main comparisons will be: internal fixation versus non-surgical treatment different types of internal fixation different types and durations of immobilisation after internal fixation
