Red guava leaves extract known for its antibacterial against Propionibacterium acne. This study aims to formulate a non-SLS solid facial soap with variety of palm and olive oils ratio from 96% ethanol extract of red guava leaves (Psidium guajava). The research began with the preparation of extracts from red guava leaves powder using the maceration method. The extract was formulated into three solid soap formulas. These three formulas are distinguished from the ratio of palm oil and olive oil. The formulation was carried out by heating a mixture of palm and olive oil to 70 o C. The NaOH solution (45% w/v) made by dissolving 9 g of NaOH in 20 mL of distilled water while stirring continuously and keeping the temperature between 70-80 o C until trace is reached. The soap mixture was molded and left for the curing process up to 1 week. After that, the solid soap preparations were subjected to physical tests which included organoleptic, foam height, water content, and pH tests according to SNI standard.
