Abstract
The present study aims to survey scientific research on the relationship between adult attachment and satisfaction in couple relationships. For this reason, a Systematic Review was conducted using the PRISMA statement on the scientific bases of Google Scholar, Redalyc and Scielo. The search terms used were Attachment and Satisfaction in Couple Relationships, and a total of 519,087 articles were found. Only open access articles published in English during the last 5 years were included. After filtering, screening and final screening, which are developed in the flow chart, 519,072 articles were excluded, selecting 20 that took the adult couple relationship as a sample. The data found confirm the existence of a relationship between attachment bonds and satisfaction in couple relationships. Likewise, it is observed that avoidant and anxious attachment strategies have a lower level of satisfaction in their romantic relationship.
