Flora da Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais: Sapotaceae

Abstract

(Flora of Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais: Sapotaceae). The study of the family Sapotaceae is a part of the project of "Flora of Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais, Brazil". In that area, the family is represented by the genus Chryso-phyllum with one species, Micropholis and Pouteria, with two species each. A key to the species, descriptions and illustrations , as well as comments on the geographic distribution, phenology and variability of the species are presented.
