Abstract

Home health services is a service provided by a professional team at home for patients who have difficulty in reaching the hospital for various reasons. In our country, the importance of home health services increases as the life expectancy increases. The first legislation on health at home was issued by the Ministry of Health in 2005. This legislation is primarily a legislation regulating the services provided by the private sector. In the regulation issued in 2015, health services provided by the Ministry of Health were organized. Then, in 2017, radical changes were made in practice without any legislative amendments. The service has been started to give by the second step completely. The related legislative work continues in the Ministry of Health. In this study, the content of the current legislation is reviewed and the content of the legislation that is being prepared is discussed.
