Abstract

A case of soft tissue sarcoma of the anterior abdominal wall was followed for more than a 50‐year period. The tumor changed its spots on many occasions, finally outstripping its local confines to metastasize and invade. The behavior of such tumors is variable, and much controversy exists in the literature both as to diagnosis and prognosis. The importance of proper, primary surgical treatment is emphasized.
