La producción científica de grado en torno al femicidio en la región de la Costa – Ecuador

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of Femicide, as an extreme practice of violence against women based on the roots of historical-cultural patterns where the male sex is shown as dominant and the submission of the female. Hermeneutics was used as a method to study the texts from a critical stance. In the same way, techniques such as bibliographic matrices and content analysis were used that favored the processing of knowledge and the establishment of trends, essential elements to be able to form a theoretical framework with relevant information about the subject in question. Corroborating through the study carried out that in the reference investigations the objectives have been channeled from different professional fields and under a merely informative vision, with a limited look at the causes that generate it. Demonstrating a vision more of effect than causality, therefore, proactive and contextualized research is needed to empower women to transform their reality.
