Abstract. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of accreditation implementation, by: (1) describing and analyzing the factual model of high school accreditation implementation that includes (a) schools?óÔé¼Ôäó preparation in carrying out the accreditation; (b) the mechanism of implementation of school accreditation, and (c) follow- up of?é?á the results of school accreditation, (2) generating a design of hypothetical model of high school accreditation that can inherently develop school administrators?óÔé¼Ôäó internal commitment, describe the results of school performance as a whole, and can also be used as a reference in school development; and (3) creating the final model of high school accreditation that can inherently develop school administrators?óÔé¼Ôäó internal commitment, describe the results of school performance as a whole, and can also be used as a reference in school development. This research is carried out by employing the procedural model development method by modifying the design of research and development (Educational Research & Development). The result obtained is the final model of school accreditation implementation in high school, which can inherently develop school administrators?óÔé¼Ôäó internal commitment, describe the results of school performance as a whole, and can also be used as a reference in school development. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model penyelenggaraan akreditasi, dengan: (1) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis model faktual penyelenggaraan akreditasi sekolah menengah atas yang mencakup: (a) persiapan sekolah dalam menyelenggarakan akreditasi; (b) mekanisme pelaksanaan akreditasi sekolah; dan (c) tindak lanjut hasil akreditasi sekolah; (2) menghasilkan desain model hipotetik penyelenggaraan akreditasi di sekolah menengah atas yang dapat mengembangkan komitmen internal secara inheren pengelola sekolah, menggambarkan hasil kinerja sekolah secara utuh, sekaligus dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pembinaan sekolah; dan (3) menghasilkan model final penyelenggaraan akreditasi sekolah di sekolah menengah atas yang dapat mengembangkan komitmen internal secara inheren pengelola sekolah, menggambarkan hasil kinerja sekolah secara utuh, sekaligus dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pembinaan sekolah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan model prosedural dengan memodifikasi desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Educational Research & Development). Hasil yang diperoleh adalah model final penyelenggaraan akreditasi sekolah di sekolah menengah atas, yang dapat mengembangkan komitmen internal secara inheren pengelola sekolah, menggambarkan hasil kinerja sekolah secara utuh, sekaligus dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pembinaan sekolah.
