People migrate from one place to another for reasons such as socio-economic and security concerns. This situation, on the one hand, influences the socio-psychological structures of those who leave the place; on the other hand, it is affecting the people on the ground and the socio-psychological structures of them. Indeed, the fact that people have migrated from one place to another does not mean they have neither the problems they are leaving behind nor the possible problems they will face in the future. They are primarily trying to protect their lives and maintain their basic needs. However, the problems of a person who has a socio-psychological structure do not end up just to maintain their basic needs. The problems that come with migration and the problems that negatively affect the psychological structure of a person are at least as important as meeting basic needs. Because at the same time a person who can maintain his or her basic needs at a minimum level will be able to maintain his psychological needs and will help him to stay alive and integrate with the new society. The same applies to the socio-psychological state of the people in the migrated population. In this declaration, firstly the socio-psychological problems experienced by immigrants will be emphasized. Secondly, the possible socio-psychological problems encountered by immigrants will be addressed by people in the society accepting immigrants. Finally, some solution proposals will be presented for these two-party problems.
