Abstract

Anamnesis and physical examination are the basis of all medical procedures. Especially in the field of andrology and reproductive medicine, they are vital for establishing a relationship of trust between physician and patient, without which the physician will not receive required information in an area that continues to be characterized by strong taboos. Anamnesis and a thorough physical examination provide the signals for further diagnostics and therapy. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
