Le réseau comme forme d'organisation de l'interdisciplinarité «par le bas »: L'exemple de Développement durable et Territoires fragiles

Abstract

The regional research network offers an interesting alternative in the face of academic and institutional difficulties in promoting a "top down" interdisciplinarity. In this context, this article describes the interdisciplinary network "Développement durable et Territoires fragiles" ("Sustainable development and fragile territories"), set up in the Nord-Pas de Calais region (northern France) since the end. of the nineties. Participation in several contract-based research operations, and die organization of a regular scientific activity (seminars and electronic journal), helped to consolidate and perpetuate this enterprise.
