Abstract

2 nm bimetallic alloyed Au-Pt nanoparticles were synthesized via electron beam irradiation. The nanoparticles were characterized using TEM and EDAX analysis, and tested as electrocatalysts for different fuel-cell related reactions. Our results show that these Au-Pt nanoparticles are promising for application in fuel cells.
