Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Estimasi Matematika Ekonomi Melalui Permainan Tradisional Mpa’a Amba

Abstract

Mathematical Estimation is one of the competencies in mathematics related to the ability to estimate. One way to practice estimation skills can be through the traditional Mpa’a Amba game strategy. But before that, validity and reliability tests were carried out by two experts on the learning tools developed, namely RPP, LKS, BAS, and Instrument of mathematical estimation ability. After the assessment, it was found that the learning tools developed were very valid and very reliable. Using these instruments, the teaching obtained using Mpa’a Amba’s strategy specifically Social Arithmetic material to improve the ability of estimation in student’s the VII class is very effective because the value obtained when measured using the N-Gain formula is high. It was seen from the comparison of the pre-test and post-test scores. That the increase in the value of pre-test to post-test between 66.67 to 233.33%.
