O Impacto da sociedade da informação no processo de desenvolvimento

Abstract

This article aims to propose a reflection about the importance of the information society in the development process, based on the assumptions of post-modern thought and of a brief commented review of the new structures established with the new economic-technological paradigm of information. The authors conclude that, according to the predominance of the network logic inherent to the information society, the social networks translate into socio-economic and political tools that impact the development process.
