Abstract

People's lifestyles have affected the level of electricity consumption has increased. Wasteful household electricity consumption is caused by the absence of a control system in monitoring the amount of power used. Monitoring using kWh meters is not enough because it is not able to monitor any excess load in electrical power consumption. In research, the monitoring and notification sistem for electricity consumption for households based on the internet of things using blink is a sistem to monitor several electricity loads in the household through smartphones in the hope that it will make it easier for users to see the power that has been used optimally and provide security if found in electricity consumption at excessive loads. In this study using the PZEM-004T sensor to measure the value of voltage, current and power at the load of electrical equipment. NodeMCU esp 32 as a microcontroller equipped with a wifi module to be able to connect to internet. The Blink application is used as a medium for monitoring measured values on the sensor according to the load of the electrical equipment used. The test results on this system show that the system has run well, good performance is shown in the control system and delay measurement in QoS. The delay measurement in QoS during testing has a total average delay of 104.9 ms.
