Abstract

The kinetics of formation and decomposition in perchloric and other acids of blue chromium(VI) diperoxy and the formation of red vanadium(V) monoperoxy, yellow vanadium(V) diperoxy, and orange titanium-(IV) monoperoxy species have been examined by flow methods. Rate laws have been established, and mechanisms are suggested for these reactions. © 1967, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
