Abstract

This study aims to conduct a preliminary study of the development of Android-based learning media in the Report Text material for Senior High School English subjects. The results of the questionnaire data conducted at the pre-research stage showed that 21.88% of respondents had difficulty with the Report Text material, indicated by incomplete KKM. As many as 65.63% of respondents liked English lessons, 46.88% of respondents chose visual-auditory as a learning style and as many as 90.63% of respondents had Android-based devices. Based on these data it was concluded that Android-based learning media that can meet the needs of respondents is an interactive learning media designed using the collaboration of PowerPoint, iSpring Free 9, and Web2APK applications with an attractive appearance
