Abstract

The article focuses on aspects of the circular economy especially from the biofuel production point of view. In the first part of the article, legal acts covering the idea of a "circular economy" and waste hierarchy were briefly described. Subsequently some experiences on combining of mathematical models, LCA and circular economy were presented. Finally biofuel production as a part of a circular economy was discussed. Especially, guidelines fora mathematical model of biofuel production, in order to perform optimization in view of a circular economy were developed.
