Abstract

The efficiency of thermoelectric refrigerator was investigated by two thermoelectric cooling (TEC 1-12709) at outside insulator box with cooling side at inside box and rejected heat at outside box by heat sink and fan. We applied electrical current 0.5 - 2 A for 15 minutes at room temperature and found that the inside thermoelectric refrigerator box showed a lowest temperature decreasing at center from 26.49 oC to 19.32 oC and at surface of TEC from 25.70 oC to 7.05 oC. The highest coefficient of performance (COP) is 0.10 by parallel connection.
