Abstract

The aggregates which are recycled should be used in construction of structures as they will decrease the using of natural aggregates. Daily in world constructions are increasing so usages of aggregates are also increasing. We cannot meet the increasing demand of aggregates if we use like this every day. So as we cannot reduce usage of aggregate we should search for alternate to the aggregates. Increasing usage of aggregates also causes destruction to the environment. To decrease environmental issues and to meet increasing demand there is only one option called recycling. By recycling we can reduce environmental issues as well as meeting demand for aggregates in modern day constructions. This project deals with, two different mixes (i) Replacing 10mm Recycled Coarse Aggregates (Hereafter it is denoted as RCA) at different percentages i.e 20%, 30%,40%. (ii) Replacing 20mm Recycled aggregates with same percentages. Then the compressive strength of cube find with mixing these two aggregates. The compressive strengths that obtained are compared with normal aggregates.
