Abstract

This work registers the presence of Hololepta (Leionota) reichii Marseul, 1853 in stingless bees beehives (Hymenoptera: Apidae) in an experimental meliponary in Manaus (km 8, Br 174), Amazonas State, Brazil. It describes the behavior presented by H. (Leionota) reichii during intense predatory activity on stingless bees larvae and pupa in artificial and monitored conditions.
