Abstract

RESUMEN El idealismo y el Romanticismo alemán toman la esencia del concepto de libertad en la Revolución Francesa, reflexión que los lleva a repensar el arte, el mito, la naturaleza, la Edad Media y la presencia del sueño en el acto creador del artista. Goethe, fuente de inspiración para estos artistas y pensadores, comparte algunos de los postulados, establece diferencias con otros y formula un nuevo concepto de símbolo. ABSTRACT German Idealism and German Romanticism utilize the essence of the concept of freedom from the French Revolution. This very reflection leads artists to rethink art, myth, nature, the Middle Ages and the presence of the dream in the artist's crative act. Goethe, a source of inspiration for these artists and thinkers, shares some of his postulates, differentiates them from others and formulates a new concept of symbol.
