Abstract

This paper proposes a blockchain-based token incentive mechanism that aims to reward stakeholders in industries for their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. The mechanism aims to address the transparency and consistency in existing ESG frameworks, while encouraging the adoption of sustainable practices. By providing an objective and transparent method for recognizing and rewarding stakeholders' ESG performance, this mechanism incentivizes them to enhance their ESG efforts through appealing rewards. Furthermore, it promotes sustainable building practices by encouraging the use of renewable energy sources, recycling of construction waste, and the application of energy-efficient building materials.
