Abstract

In this paper, a new high ionic conductivity solid in the silver-iodide and silver-tungstate system is described which has beeter stability in iodine atmosphere than the other high ionic conductors previously known. The system AgI-Ag//2WO//4 has been examined to determine its phase diagram, and the performance of the solid-state silver-iodine cell has been investigated using this system as the electrolyte.
