Wright's Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia

Abstract

This seventh edition of the book, while preserving the original framework of Professor Wright's book, has been further enlarged to incorporate recent developments. An entirely new chapter on the artificial ventilation of the lungs has been added. In particular, the sections on premedication and basal narcosis have been considerably expanded with the addition of some new drugs. The chapter on anaesthetic agents and their administration has also been revised and that on 'Relaxation of the skeletal muscles during anaesthesia' largely rewritten. A number of new illustrations have been added and many of the old photographs and drawings, revised or replaced.
