Abstract

Committed employees are the assets of the organizations and they will have emotional attachment and affinity to the organization. Researchers investigated to find out whether the age of the executives has any influence on their decision to stay with their organization and their organizational Identification. The survey was conducted among the junior and middle level executives of a large scale public sector manufacturing organization across India. The questionnaires were personally administered to 650 executives of the public sector aircraft manufacturing organization across India and 437 useful responses were received. The study revealed that the age of executives has a significant positive strong correlation with their organizational identification.
