In the original article, in the fifth page, in the Strengths and Limitations section, it was incorrectly stated that: However, our study sample of 132 transgender individuals is of relevance if we consider that two studies based on nationally representative samples have included 16829 and 1542 self-identified transgender individuals. However, the number of self-identified transgender individuals has now been corrected to 16829 and 1542, respectively, where the superscripts refer to the Refences list.
