The purpose of this study was to improve the intensive reading skills of fifth grade students of SDN 11 Tengkajau using storybook media. This study uses a classroom action research method. which is a cycle consisting of a problem-action plan-action plan-evaluation and reflection. The subjects used were 12 grade students of SDN 11 Tengkajau Pinoh Utara. The results showed that by using storybook media, the intensive reading ability of the fifth grade students of SDN 11 Tengkajau increased.
