Abstract

Cempedak (Artocarpus integer) leaves contain various secondary metabolite compounds, such as flavonoids, saponins, phenolics, terpenoids, and tannins, which function as natural antioxidants in preventing the ageing process. This research was conducted to identify these compounds both qualitatively and quantitatively using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and determine the highest compound peak through analysis using the LC-MS method. The results of the analysis using the UV-Vis Spectrophotometer method of cempedak leaf extract contain flavonoids 3.58%, tannin 2.459%, phenol 2.065%, saponin 0.805%, alkaloid 0.564%, terpenoid 0.384% and steroid 0.176%, while the chromatogram results from the highest LC-MS analysis peak with the identified compound composition of 1.888% called artonin D are included in the flavonoid group with a molecular weight (m / z) of 676.2308 with the chemical formula C40H36O10. Daun cempedak (Artocarpus integer) mengandung berbagai senyawa metabolit sekunder, seperti flavonoid, saponin, fenolik, terpenoid, dan tanin, yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan alami dalam mencegah proses penuaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa-senyawa tersebut baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat Spektrofotometer UV-Vis, serta menentukan puncak senyawa tertinggi melalui analisis menggunakan metode LC–MS. Hasil analisis menggunakan metode Spektrofotometer UV-Vis ekstrak daun cempedak mengandung flavonoid 3,58 %, tannin 2,459%, fenol 2,065%, saponin 0,805%, alkaloid 0,564%, senyawa terpenoid 0,384% serta senyawa steroid 0,176%, sedangkan pada hasil kromatogram dari  puncak tertinggi analisis LC-MS dengan senyawa yang teridentifikasi komposisi sebesar 1,888% yang dinamakan artonin D termasuk kedalam golongan flavonoid memiliki berat molekul (m/z) 676,2308 dengan rumus kimia C40H36O10.
