Abstract

Some neotectonic characteristics of the Habana-Cienfuegos lineament zone are presented includings its spatial relation with two epicenters of recent earthquakes (16-12-1982 in Torriente-Jaguey Grande and 9-3-1995 in San Jose de las Lajas). Reflections about activity of the lineament zone appear in the work.
