Abstract

The region of Alto Naya is a geographic unit with more than 300.000 HA, lapped by the Naya River, in the Colombian pacific region. Between April 10th and 13th of 2001, almost 500 men of Bloque Calima of Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC) entered to this territory and killed indigenous, african-colombian and peasant communities, due to the AUC believed they supported the insurgency of Ejercito de Liberacion Nacional. The paramilitary incursion produced inroad the displacement of 3.000 people, who just returned to the region three years after the slaughter. On that argument, the paper is based on the meanings and disputes registered during the judicial hearings, in the frame of Ordinary Criminal Justice (Justicia Penal Ordinaria) and the Law of Justice and peace, which constitute the basis of a legal "truth".
