Abstract

The objective was to analyze how the supply chain influences the logistics distribution of a logistics operator's cable warehouse. The research design was pre-experimental. The population consisted of 328 cables; a sample of 115 cables was used. The pre-test analysis performed in the dispatch process as a key process showed an operation time of 351 minutes and the post-test analysis from the new redistribution achieved a reduction of 27.8 minutes. The inventory policy using Oracle Crystall Ball software and the logistic indicator showed a reduction with respect to the initial situation; also, in the analysis of the logistic distribution there was an increase in productivity in the dispatch process; this allows us to affirm that the supply chain influences the logistic distribution of the cable warehouse of a logistic operator.
