Abstract
This paper shows the importance of sulfuric acid in different areas of the industry. Sulfuric acid is one of the most important chemicals worldwide. Sulfuric acid has many applications, in the manufacture of dyestuff, explosives and lead-acid batteries for vehicles. Additionally, it is used in the petroleum refining industry and its derivatives, and in the synthesis of mineral acids such as hydrochloric acid. The major application is the production of fertilizers, including ammonium superphosphate (acid phopshate) and sulphate.
