Abstract

Positron Emission Tomography/Computerized Tomography (PET/CT), is an important assessment method in restaging oncology patients. Its ability to detect the metabolic/functional changes in patients with colorectal cancer during the early stages, in which no morphological changes occur, is significantly better than the other imaging modalities. © Copyright 2013 by Turkish Surgical Association.
