Pekanbaru City is the capital of Riau Province which is the center of government and economy with a large population growth rate. Urban activities produced solid waste and wastewater which, if not managed, will cause adverse environmental impacts, one of which is the effect of Greenhouse Gases (GHG). The purpose of this study was to determine the value of emissions from domestic solid waste and wastewater in Pekanbaru City. The calculation of GHG emissions from the two sectors is based on the IPCC 2006 refinement 2019. Primary data collection by randomly distributing questionnaires to respondents in each district and secondary data obtained from Pekanbaru Environmental Agency and Pekanbaru City Health Office. The results show that the estimated CO2 emissions from landfilling of domestic solid waste at the Muara Fajar landfill are 16,649 Gg CO2e/year, emissions from open burning are 74,419 Gg CO2e/year and domestic wastewater emissions from septic tanks are 122,94 Gg CO2e/year. The total CO2 emission from the solid waste and wastewater sector of Pekanbaru City is 214,008 Gg CO2e/yr.
