Abstract

The success of the principal if he can carry out his duties and responsibilities as well as possible. Teachers must have alternatives and creativity in working professionally so as to give birth to productivity. This study used a survey method with non-experimental correlational analysis and data was collected using a questionnaire in the form of a scale. The results showed a positive relationship between the principal's leadership and the work productivity of the teachers at Private MTs Ummi, Lubuk Pakam District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This means that the better the leadership carried out by the principal on a teacher, the higher the work productivity of the teacher, and vice versa. Therefore, the principal's leadership is an important variable to consider in predicting teacher work productivity.
