Abstract

Squalene, (2E, 7ξ, 11ξ)-phyt-2-en-1-ol and amentoflavone have been isolated from the extract of the leaves of Antidesma laciniatum. Their structures were elucidated using spectroscopic methods. This is the first report of these compounds from Antidesma species. © 2006 Chemical Society of Ethiopia.
