Forest health has become one of the achievement criteria in sustainable forest management. Identification of the health condition of vegetation is one of the important efforts in plant management, according to silvicultural rules to maintain the health of forest vegetation. Arboretum is a place where various types of vegetation are planted and bred for research or education purposes, collection purposes and ex-situ conservation (outside the habitat). The importance of knowing the health of the vegetation in the Arboretum is one of the silvicultural techniques in maintaining the presence of local and superior species. This research was conducted at the Arboretum of KPHP Kerinci Unit I. The research was conducted using a sampling method. The sampling method was used to assess the health of the vegetation in the cluster plots. Identification of health status is carried out using the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method, which is a method of assessing tree health by classifying the type and level of damage per individual plant. The results of observations through the Forest Health Monitoring method showed that the vegetation condition in the Kerinci Unit 1 KPHP Arboretum was still classified as healthy with a Damage Index Value (NIK) of 2.08 (scale 21), with the percentage of healthy vegetation (74.81%), the level of damage mild (23.42%), and moderate damage (1.78%).
